These are the days and these are the nights these are the ones they warned us about all our lives. Day in, Day out All goes according to plan. whatever you get is never more than you can stand you get a rock and you push it hard to get a start you push it hard You keep pushing you keep pushing you keep pushing with all your will you keep pushing you keep pushing you keep pushing rocks up a hill and when they fall back down you can smile. Once upon a time in myths we're told of a man condemned to push a rolling stone He loved life and bound death in chains though he was wise it was all in vain. He got a rock and he pushed it hard to get to the top he pushed it hard You keep pushing you keep pushing you keep pushing with all your will you keep pushing you keep pushing you keep pushing rocks up a hill and when they fall back down you can smile. You can say it doesn't matter you can say it' will never end you say it's meaningless that it's absurd my friend I only listen, I only listen for you until you say, climber c’mon, climber that's no hill. Scorned by the gods and scorned by fate can you dig it, baby can you relate? It's tragic and funny And the minute you know sometimes you see and sometimes…you don't You got a rock and you push it hard You keep pushing you keep pushing you keep pushing with all your will you keep pushing you keep pushing you keep pushing rocks up a hill and when they fall back down you can smile. We get a rock what are you gonna do when you get to the top? will you push that rock with all you got?

Ugly Things 03:46
Ugly Things What's in the corner under the rug first you pushed- then you started to shove? whatcha hidin' up your sleeve I've seen some ugly things Take a seat pull up a chair don't mind the light watch the glare time for a little q & a let's start with your full name. Ugly things running round in the back of your mind Ugly things in a closet skeletons are fine Come on baby, your safe with me I've seen some ugly things. Where's the line between bad and good? the one you'd cross if you knew you could don't look away I'm not through some blood letting might do you good. What you do and what you say don't seem to correspond today it's black and white not the shades of gray no one's looking when we turn away. chorus Watch your back it's dog eat dog pass the buck it's someone else's fault point your finger say your prayers toll the bell someone else is dead. No one lifted a finger no one made a sound no one heard you baby when you hit the ground Come over here you're safe now I've seen some ugly things. © kking & jbouchard 2005

O Death 04:28
O, Death O, Death Won't you spare me over til another year Well what is this that I can't see With ice cold hands takin' hold of me Well I am death, none can excel I'll open the door to heaven or hell Whoa, death someone would pray Could you wait to call me another day The children prayed, the preacher preached Time and mercy is out of your reach I'll fix your feet til you cant walk I'll lock your jaw til you cant talk I'll close your eyes so you can't see This very hour, come and go with me O death you come to take the soul Leave the body and leave it cold To drop the flesh right off of the frame Earth and worms both have a claim O, Death O, Death Won't you spare me over til another year My mother came to my bed Placed a cold towel on my head My head is warm my feet are cold Death is movin upon my soul Oh, death how you're treatin' me You've close my eyes so I can't see Well you're hurt my body You make me cold You run my life right outta my soul Oh death please consider my age Please don't take me at this stage My wealth is all at your command If you will move your icy hand Old, young, the rich or poor All alike to me you know No wealth, no ruin, no silver no gold Nothing satisfies me but your soul O, death O, death Wont you spare me over til another year Wont you spare me over til another year Wont you spare me over til another year

I Was Wrong 02:58
I was so wrong isn't that what you say? when things go astray? I was wrong. I was a fool to think that you would stay not even a fool deserves to be treated that way. I was so wrong I was selfish and cruel not thinking about you I was wrong. And sorry doesn't cut it and there's no apology can undo the heartache caused by me I was so wrong as you walk away the last thing that i'll say I was wrong. © 2006 Kelli King & Jim Bouchard

The Heart Breaks Words spoken limbs are frail valves that cut off and the legs of a chair The door that opens the one you close the desk you sit at and the car you drove. Even the white wings of a dove the back of a hand the dark before dawn the voice of a man But the heart breaks the heart breaks, the heart breaks most of all. Bottles run out threads bare glass shatters rust everywhere The phone you call from the dam you built the bank you busted and the home you filled And this list of things that need repair that grows every day of every year You keep your best ofs and you your top ten I'll keep track of what's broken. Waves of water long dry spells fences that stretch out the home you filled The mold you're made of clouds overhead the fever you suffer and the headlines read. Even the white wings of a dove the back of a hand the dark before dawn the voice of a man the faith of a child the chains you're in a world record set again and again.

Let's Go Out 03:59
Let’s Go Out I dare you to tell how you feel on this cold day dawning I’m not so fine I’m not fine Nothin‘s okay Nothing’s right Nothing’s making sense tonight Lets go out when no lights are shining and watch the stars orbit the earth In the middle of the day It’s hard to believe the suns are shining over it all With the sun to hide you in the middle of the day it’s hard to believe that anything will ever change in the middle of the day Sometimes I can see the moon oh let’s go out It gets dark in the desert It can get very cold and the night can last forever when you’re small and along Oh let’s go out where no lights are shings and watch the stars count satellites they’re climbing across the sky tonight It’s a new day waiting for the sun to find you wide awake, movin’ on turn the key push the engine running overtime it’s a new day dawning Lets go out when no lights are shining and watch the stars © kelli king & jim bouchard 2006

All the wrong things for all the right reasons all the wrong things at precisely the right time and it might take a while to get it even I did all the wrong things for such a long time. This life comes with no directions still I feel a little deja vu and although things look familiar I haven't got a clue. Chorus All the wrong things for all the right reasons all the wrong things at precisely the right time and it might take a while to get it even I did all the wrong things for such a long time. By now, you'd think I'd know better monkey see is monkey do and although I can rearrange I may never change my inclination to... Chorus All the wrong things for all the right reasons all the wrong things at precisely the right time and it might take a while to get it even I did all the wrong things for such a long time. Bridge: Well don't you know? There are no mistakes The choice is up to you It doesn't matter what turn you have to take all roads lead to you. So if, by chance, you should remember anything I say hurry up and learn to do better and do it your own way. Chorus © kelli king & jim bouchard 2005

Andrea Yates 05:12
Andrea Yates In eight years of marriage the Yates had five children four boys and one little girl. Times were hard nothing easy down in seminole florida In 97' they left the travel trailer and went back to Texas lived in a renovated bus No one can tell you how four walls can close in for years they lived light and followed God. But when I was just seventeen a valedictorian captain of the swim team Don’t' forget I was a member of the National Honor Society. June '99 after the fourth child she started seeing things hearing things, listening to a preacher his words , salvation surely bring. Michael Woronecki a traveling minister preached a sermon about women made Andrea see the role of wife and mother is derived from the original sin of eve I was a good girl I studied nursing graduated from UT An RN at the cancer center When I met Rusty when we married I was twenty-three. One day with a sharp knife at her throat pointed she threatened suicide she cried and she pleaded with rusty to let that day be their last goodbye. Catatonic for ten days Docs said no more babies haldol they gave her soon she was feeling well Rusty would move them into a real home November 2000 brought a baby girl. I prayed and I prayed I read the bible sometimes frantically a better wife? a better mother? Lord, can you make out of me? Desperate days homeschooling the children after her dad died she went spiraling One by one took them to the water held them under until they stayed Andrea Yates sits in harris county prison Michael still preaching under east texas pines. I saw Rusty on Larry King the other day If you ask me he looked just fine. If you ask me he looked just fine. When I was just seventeen a valedictorian Don't you forget I was a member of the National Honor Society. Andrea Yates was a member of the National Honor Society.

Like I love you. I should have known by now no getting over you no how I should have known by now I'm yours. Hold me closely keep me warm I am happiest in your arms. Tell me truly and don't you lie how could you want to say goodbye to me? Say goodbye to me? Chorus It's just when the wind blows I hear your heart beat It's just when the wind blows I can hear you whispering... The Tide 05:18
The Tide Some things cannot be held some thing so illusive Holding on too tight careful not to lose it You're like the tide coming and going you're like the tide you're up or you're down in or out ebb or flowing I can't keep up I can't hold on. Some things are always off far in the distance Some things are always lost some things aren't where you left them You're like the tide coming and going you're like the tide you're up or you're down in or out ebb or flowing I can't keep up I can't hold on. Like holding on to water like holding on to air like holding on to rainbows something that's not there. Some things cannot be held some thing so illusive Holding on too tight careful not to lose it You're like the tide coming and going you're like the tide up or you're down in or out ebb or flowing I can't keep up I can't hold on. © kelli king & jim bouchard 2005

The Free and The Brave Here we go sit back for the ride they're shaking hands and stoking home fires putting on pins and checking their hair Now they're standing in rows and towing a line every year it get s harder to buy what they do and what they say but everything changes when you get home. The economy's strong like coffee in a cup numbers don't lie they just don't always add up let me assure you it's good down to the last drop. Another round of applause for our plan of attack a tear in the eye and a pat on the back If you ask them we never had it so good but everything changes when you get home. Oh, say? Does that star- spangled banner yet wave over the land of the free and the home of the brave? Oh say does it wave over the free and the brave? Thanks for listening Thanks for your time The state of the Union is doing just fine a moment of silence for the ones not coming home. A prayer for the wounded hungry and poor the good book says you'll inherit the earth but Everything changes Everything changes everything changes when you get home. © kking & jbouchard 2006
